How does the administration of CLT3-6 exams differ from the administration of CLT7 and CLT8 exams?<\/h6>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

CLT3, CLT4, CLT5<\/strong> and CLT6<\/strong> have\u00a0<\/span>recommended timing\u00a0of 2 to 3 hours total. <\/span>The test\u00a0can be split up<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0over several days,<\/strong> but individual sections must be completed in one sitting. The entire test must be completed within two weeks of beginning it.<\/p>\n

CLT7<\/strong> and CLT8<\/strong> have\u00a0required timing\u00a0<\/span>and the entire test must be completed in\u00a0one sitting. <\/span><\/strong>The CLT7 and CLT8 are intended for 7th and 8th grade, respectively, and are timed, lasting 135 minutes. Yes, all exams are nationally normed using Lexile <\/em><\/a>and Quantile<\/em><\/a> measures. All exams will report Lexile<\/em> and Quantile<\/em> measures for students along with the Lexile<\/em> and Quantile<\/em> national user percentile norms. This will allow parents to see how their student\u2019s score compares to the national user percentiles for Lexile<\/em> and Quantile<\/em> measures. More than 35 million students in the United States receive Lexile<\/em> and Quantile<\/em> measures each academic year. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n

The multi-week testing window for CLT3-8 means that the exams can be administered to testers on any day(s) during this period.<\/p>\n

The CLT3, CLT4, CLT5, and CLT6 are intended for 3rd-6th grade, respectively, and have recommended timing<\/span><\/strong>, with expected completion in two to three hours. The four sections on each exam can be split up and administered over the course of several days, if desired. Before the testing window, your school\u2019s test manager will receive instructions to log in to an online account where the test(s) can be accessed. For each exam you have purchased, you will receive a test access code which your testers will use to access the online exam. If you have purchased multiple tests\u2013for example, one CLT3 and one CLT5\u2013they do not need to be administered on the same day, as long as each tester tests within the testing window.<\/p>\n

After you have ordered your tests, you will receive an email when your account is ready for you to access. On your account, you\u2019ll be able to view your upcoming tests and your test access codes, as well as important information about test day.<\/p>\n

Your CLT Test Manager Account is your home base for administering CLT3-8 exams. There, you will be able to access all the materials you will need for test day, including:<\/p>\n
