After starting the CLT or CLT10, students have 40 minutes to complete the Verbal Reasoning section, 35 minutes for the Grammar\/Writing section, and 45 minutes for the Quantitative Reasoning section, for a total testing time of 120 minutes (2 hours).<\/p>\n<p>Students taking the CLT10 or in-school CLT who choose to write the optional essay will receive an additional 30 minutes to do so.<\/p>\n<p>The CLT7 &amp; CLT8 take a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes of testing time.
